DOLL HOUSEDoll House is a living exhibition of thirty artists housed inside a single giant structure. Each window opens onto a different world, a self-contained media work that the viewer looks into the way you would peer into the rooms of a doll house. Thirty windows, thirty worlds, one house; together they form a community you explore one frame at a time.
The house is not static. It moves through the space across the run of the show, so the exhibition itself is alive and shifting, never the same view twice. The opening drew 600 people on a freezing night and included a live performance, presented by Turbo Cheap in association with FWB.
Doll House reframes the group show as a single organism. Instead of works hung side by side on a wall, the artists live together inside one architecture, each behind their own window, each a room in a shared house of moving images. To walk through it is to walk through a neighborhood of imaginations.
